My name is Ben Doyle and I have the privilege of being the Principal of St Francis Xavier School, Geraldton. I have been working in Catholic Education in Western Australia for over twenty years, the past twelve as school Principal.
The Principal’s role is to lead the school community in the provision of quality education for students. This includes being the champion of learning and taking responsibility of the pastoral, theological and managerial direction of the school. At St Francis Xavier, the Principal is greatly assisted in this role by the School Leadership Team.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead St Francis Xavier School Community and look forward to working collaboratively with staff, parents and students.
Kind Regards
Ben Doyle
I am incredibly honoured to be part of the St Francis Xavier community. Originally from Perth, my experiences include teaching Primary students from kindergarten to Year 7, in Northampton and Geraldton.
In addition to working with students, I have supported early career teachers and administrators throughout the Diocese as an educational consultant for the Catholic Education Office of WA. Since 2016, I have been part of the Leadership team at St Francis Xavier.
St Francis Xavier has a distinctive culture of students learning together and supporting and encouraging each other to do their best. Staff work collaboratively to develop a comprehensive educational program, that supports the health and wellbeing of students, and challenges everyone to reach their potential.
All staff hold high expectations of student learning, leadership, participation and behaviour to ensure a child centred education. We offer a wide range of opportunities for students to perform in sporting pursuits, participate in public speaking, perform in productions, musicals, exhibit work, develop fluency in languages, the humanities, develop scientific curiosity and explore digital technologies.
St Francis Xavier is a vibrant place of learning and personal growth. We encourage students to do their best, invest effort into their learning, and take up opportunities that arise to showcase their gifts and talents, explore their interests, and continually develop new knowledge and skills.
As Assistant Principal, I am committed to working together with the community to ensure that we are providing the best possible educational opportunities for all students and look forward to ensuring this year is a successful one for our staff and students.
Kind Regards
